About Us
Osierlea is a dressage facility in San Juan Bautista, California, that has been in operation for more than 30 years. We were established by Elizabeth Searle and Jeff Moore, and are now owned and operated by Jeff and managed by Laurel von Bruun.
Our facility offers rider/handler education and horse training, with a specialty in dressage for all breeds and disciplines. In addition, we hold educational conferences on a variety of subjects, with guest speakers touching on all different topics. We also host three dressage shows per year, which are recognized by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), the United States Dressage Federation (USDF), the California Dressage Society (CDS), and the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).
San Juan Bautista is a beautiful historic "California mission town." It still functions as a mission, and is known for its 19th century downtown area, which features historically restored buildings dating back to 1777. In addition, it is known for its many antique stores and restaurants.
